Can Voice do it again in 2018?

17/01/2018

We’re here! Welcome to Trini Good Media and our first podcast, Talk ‘Bout Us!

We thought as we were launching in January, we’d take a look back at some of the entertainment industry highlights of 2017 and peer into our 2018 crystal ball. In the episode Looking Into Our 2018 Crystal Ball, we got three knowledgeable folks from the industry to share their views on the sector.

LoopTT regional lifestyle editor Laura Dowrich-Phillips, music analyst Nigel Campbell and music producer, DJ and promoter Jayron “Rawkus” Remy sat down with Franka to share their views.

Among the things they discussed were hot young soca artistes like Voice and Nailah Blackman, the spread of soca and Carnival around the world (who knew soca was big in Belgium?), plans for Music TT’s Live Music Festival, the challenge of Jamaica’s Carnival and the state of the local fashion industry.
